I am mostly good about this every day, and I always see such an amazing difference and truly feel better when I do it. Yet when I’m tired or burnt out, it is the first thing I skip or think about skipping to get to bed quicker.
Flossing is so incredibly quick. You can take longer to do it, really get in to all the nooks and get the plaque out, or just do a quick go of it and make sure anything invasive has been taken care of. Choose your own adventure.
I can feel a difference in how quickly my teeth get that ‘fuzzy’ feeling when I skip flossing and only brush. Too long, and my teeth appear more yellow and less prominently healthy.
I try to skip it whenever I feel an excuse, but truthfully, I love that I care enough about flossing to force myself to do it most nights.
I haven’t had a cavity in years.
